    Jab Harry Met Sejal

    ★★½

Staying with my Indian friend, who’s a huge Bollywood fan and knows I absolutely love When Harry Met Sally, she thought Jab Harry Met Sejal would be the perfect movie for us to watch together. ★★

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who seems to pop up in nearly every Bollywood movie I’ve watched, was in Veere Di Wedding again. The acting, especially at the start, felt a bit cringe. As the film went on, I got more invested, but it just wasn’t the vibe I was after, and I ended up not finishing it.

The small cast weaves a beautifully strong story, with Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan as Harry and Sally showcasing fantastic chemistry that carries the film. Their evolving relationship is a clear example of how time and maturity can transform a friendship into the strongest kind of partnership.

The film also beautifully portrays how some youthful relationships, once so important,…
