Art is subjective, but if I was held at gunpoint the closest I’d come to defining great art would be that it makes you ask questions, instead of wrapping answers in a nice neat package. It was disappointing that much like Snowpiercer, this timely commentary ends in an unrealistic naive wrap up that leaves nothing up to discussion. Whereas something like Parasite doubles down on the curiosity surrounding the juxtapositions of its subjects. With that in mind, it’s still a daring, entertaining and well crafted endeavor.

The most absolute waste of celluloid, and believe me there’s been plenty this year.
