You know what this film is not for everyone but I have to appreciate the vision and thought that must have went into this from Soderbergh. More of a family drama than a horror and I think had the elements of being a creepy horror but I just don’t think they leaned into that side of the film enough. The pacing is slightly off and really takes its time to build itself to the penultimate last 20 mins. I was…

Beautiful looking film. I just didn’t care for the characters enough. Predictable run of the mill remake. Werewolf films tend to not hit home for me and this wasn’t any different. Where it gained in style it lacked in substance.

Wow! Every single performance in this is flawless. A gut wrenching look at an extremely realistic telling of a heartbreaking incident. Each episode all shot in one take. Absolutely incredible from the people who made this limited series. That young boys performance especially in episode 3 just unbelievable. Stephen Graham is a national treasure.

Is it ok to say I like Aliens over Alien? Besides the corniest bunch of marines I’ve ever seen this movie is fucking bad ass. More Aliens, more Sigourney, more guns, more explosions. A monumental sequel that pushes the Alien franchise into the stratosphere. The importance of these films paved the way for space and Alien movies and you can see where the inspiration and techniques come from nowadays. The Alien Queen protecting her off spring and Ripley protecting Newt, a mother vs mother type situation. Loved it!
