this is a good movie that would have been great if they had not put form over content. beautiful costume, cinematography, great acting.
the pace of this film is sluggish at best. it made three and a half hours feel like six.
rather on the nose with its metaphors about art, capitalism and references to zionism.
a surprising lack of brutalist architecture ?
i’m probably going to rewatch it at home at some point, but right now this movie fell short of my expectations. repeating that a movie is an instant classic over and over on the internet does not make it so.
