The rotoscoping was a little hard to get into but this truly could not have been a live-action movie in 2006 and be half as effective as it was with the weird animation. One Cut of the Dead 2017
The structure of this really did it for me. I was so sucked in by the first part that when it ended I had to pause the movie to make sure it wasn't actually over yet. And I was so pleasantly surprised! Extremely fun! I love when everything has a payoff and I LOVE having a good time at the movies
