  Mind-blending. A pineal odyssey.
  I truly haven’t been this wide-eyed in an AMC in recent memory—blessed to have seen this on the big screen.  I walked home feeling this buoyant sense of childlike wonder. Such an experience leaves me humbled by the power of animation.

  LA dinner sci-fi thriller that’s probably the most accurate depiction of going to an LA dinner party. 
  what a glorious gem of an indie. so bare-boned (and it does show at points) but drowning in ideas, this is a starkly confident entry in the pretty bleak zone of scifi indie. marvel&dune comparatives eclipse everything else these days, but this one humbly knocks Interstellar down a peg for best scifi time warp of 2014.

  Sooo I thought I had seen this to completion, but this more thoughtful watch made me realize this is definitely my first time watching all the way through.
  There’s A LOT here.
  Firstly, while I remember this movie having a reputation for being slow and reserved, it actually serves up some pretty horrifying stuff. From about midway through to the end it’s pretty jammmm packed with “action” (if you wanna call it that). 
  But honestly… the epilogue kinda spoiled the whole…

  you’re FUCKING kidding. 
  movie of the fucking year, decade… maybe the century?????
  i had stratospheric expectations and i was blasted into another fucking universe with this one. 
  beaming, squirming, yelling, mouth AGAPE for the full 2.5hrs
  not even sure how to talk about this one on initial watch. the film feels like it was made in a lab just for me. 
  made me happy to be alive on so many fronts. 

  it changed my life.
