Well, just finished watching it. On the plus side is the beautiful cinematography, the young, handsome actors, the palpable chemistry they create and the promise for the great things to come from this director. Having said that, the film quite drags in places and some of the dialogues, as well as their reason for their main "argument" in the film, feel somewhat forced, written by a 16-year-old Chinese girl who writes Yaoi gay fiction. I liked it and I will keep an eye out for the director, but I feel like the best is yet to come.

Divine Love 2019
Comparing this to the Lobster is like comparing "In The mood For Love" with "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" because they both have Kimonos in them... Restraint and slow, "apples" is not for everyone. Our never-ending struggle to evade, avoid and "forget" memory and negative feelings is presented here with sharp humour ("Does anyone know who Batman is?") and the usual exrpession-lacking, deadpan faces of he protagonists that the New Greek Wave has taught us to expect. Forgetting everything and having to start anew with the help of the "State" or the "Authority" takes center-stage in the film 's plot and thought-provoking questions like "what would…
