The Seventh Seal 1957
Many themes working together senselessly. The terror of faith, and the struggles Block faces for not wanting to believe. I loved how we reverted back to prayer when death approached him at the end. Death gives life meaning, and faith gives life meaning in the face of death. Also love the Jof character, I think the naive, daydreaming actor escaping death has some meaning to it.
