Dark Harbor 1998
Alan Rickman sure liked to star in weird movies.
He was a blessed amazing actor...yes always a bitchy snake with his eyes and mannerisms.
Ummm...I’m just gonna have a shot of my Jägermeister now...Ummm yeah

Blue Is the Warmest Color 2013
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I hate Adele. She is just a bi-curious little brat whose unconscious desire to experiment led her to shatter many hearts, starting with that very nice guy in the beginning of the film. Adele was nice at first...but then I started to dislike her...her empty...ghostly soul...she had no passion...or strong will to have a career. Oi, kallis Suomenmaa 1940
This movie is like a love letter to the land that is Finland. Beautiful shots...Abundance of trees...lakes...and nature. The Finns connect so well to their nature. Respect it. Admire it. Praise it. Sing about it. Cry with it. The Finnish pride is marvelous to see here.

Myrskyluodon kalastaja 1924
My first time seeing a Finnish silent film. Not a big fan of fish crime movies, but this one had a good story. I am grateful for this restoration. Thank you, KAVI and Elonet for letting us see this. It had no music, so I had to make the musical score in my head. Why did Eerik look always so depressed? They dunked a guy in the water for being drunk and then clapping for him? Oh, Finland..
The climax of the movie was confusing...What happened to the criminals?
Will see more silents...
