    Aesthetically the film is great with a clear sense of worldbuilding. But a lot of the morals and themes felt unexplored or only there at the surface level. On multiple occasions, memory and specifically the control and modification of it are alluded to but never truly addressed in a meaningful way. A lot of this ends up then feeling like kinda half-hearted anticapitalism that's too afraid to really dig into it. Overall the film was entertaining, sure, but it had the potential to be so much more.
