Worth a watch!
The movie survives on “vibes”. I really enjoyed the ride it provided. There isn’t much character development to show, but instead focuses on the event being the character and proving its worth.
This having a 3.8 is a sin. This movie is daring, disgusting, brutal, funny, yet incredibly sad. I need the people rating it lower to watch it again.
I liken this movie to Jurassic Park: A B-movie concept brought together by an incredible vision and pretty much perfect execution.
Low key, if this movie didn’t star two heavyweights of the acting world, I think it would be just a fine, Netflix drama that we talk about for a week.
Like, it is, but Portman and Moore really elevate the material into something I would recommend to other people.
