  Dario Argento loves psychic witchcraft. While us Americans are obsessed demonic possessions and unstoppable serial killers, he was off thinking of ways to put medieval folklore into 1970's Europe. I think even the best American horror directors kind of want you to have a good time at the movies. Dario doesn't give a shit.
