Terrifier 2 2022
Never thought I’d give a Terrifier movie such a high rating but after trudging through the abysmal first entry, the sequel was a pleasant surprise. They really upped every aspect of the series. Better production quality, better storyline, better characters, better gore. Sure, it’s a little long in the blackened teeth but I had way more fun with the campy direction they took this in. I would like to see more of Art and his undead JoJo Siwa sidekick.

Sleepaway Camp 1983
The movie is perhaps the most bizarre accidentally queer horror film ever made by a cis het director. I could not blame anyone for finding this transphobic.
That being said, as a queer youth I found this movie to be super empathetic to Angela and for me she became an antihero of sorts.
I can only laugh at how the homophobia is so rampant while so many scenes drip homoeroticism.
