  This was fun to watch. I’ve now just seen Sophie Thatcher twice, this and Heretic, but she’s got a good presence for this sort of role. 

  Trite to say this, so i mean it when I say, it’s like a very good episode of Black Mirror.

  Banger, expressive, cartoon and live theater meet.
  took full use of its near two hour run time, pacing is remarkable. 

  Can’t believe it took me so long to see this. My friends and I think if this was made today it would be Walton Goggins.

  I enjoyed watching this but Herzog’s was miles ahead of this in most ways honestly and that unfortunately really brings it down, in context. 

  The atmosphere felt a bit sucked out of the story having seen previous iterations and also Eggers’ other work. Not sure what happened with that.

  The good is that every performance was absolutely perfectly performed and as always Eggers’ dialogue felt very authentic and did endear me to it.

  But yeah, this just never really hit, something felt missing and I can’t put my finger on it.
