I was confused by this movie... both characters bothered me and I wanted Alma to leave Woodcock so badly. He was such an ass. I understand the relationship is supposed to be the way two toxic people cope, but I couldn’t find myself to care about either of them at the end of the movie. The cinematography, music, and dresses were beautiful and I did laugh during some memorable scenes. But ultimately I don’t know what this movie was saying. It felt like a stretch to me
