“what’s the first thing you’ll say when you get there?”
i can always appreciate a film that explores the beauty of space. this was a cool retelling of the story that highlighted the emotional strains of life as an astronaut and even more so the loss of loved ones in a line of work that is so demanding. the score was very moving and offered a chance for the viewer to be fully engaged even in the smaller moments of the film. however, it did feel a little comical when they used some ET-ish sounds during the moon landing.
