    Lighter than the prior two films, for sure. But making it a two hander allows for a nice balance of action and humor - a refreshing change from the dour tone of Temple of Doom.     This movie both has some of the coolest set pieces in the franchise and the worst structure/pacing. The writers leaned way too hard into making Willie Scott the anti-Marion Ravenwood, but Short Round is the heart and soul of the movie. The opening 15-20 minutes are perfect, even though I always laugh when Dan Aykroyd shows up doing a British accent.

    It was aggressively fine. You can really see and hear every seam from the rewrites/reshoots, but there are some solid action sequences. Anthony Mackie really carries the film, and even Harrison Ford seems less bored/disinterested than I might have expected.
