I have a bit of a soft spot for these kinds of retellings of real life stories. Although it absolutely doesn’t bring anything new to the genre, I still find the stories pretty fascinating to see unfold and see where they end up etc.. especially when I’m not too familiar with the stories that are being told.
The thing that lets this down the most is the script and dialogue being as basic and bland as they come. Otherwise this was fine for what it is. (A throwaway, Sunday night Channel 5 drama movie)
