Dune: Part Two 2024
My wife tells me we have seen this. I can't really remember it. Isn't that weird?

The Remarkable Life of Ibelin 2024
About the importance of finding _your_ community. Even though there is something about the movie I can't quite like, that message still sticks, and it's not a bad thing that it got a lot of recognition.
In the end, I think the story says more about the lack of support some people find in the society at large and how sad that is, than it actually says about how important gaming (replace with _your_ community) is.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World 2010
This movie is pure, unadultered fun. I enjoy the comic book greatly, and was looking forward to the Wright adaptation. As far as I'm concerned, it's perfectly executed. The over-the-top comic book effects and the weird universe is only topped by the acting.
Although Michael Cera normally looks like he can't fight his way out of a humid autumn fog, he really suits both the awkwardness and the more physical aspects of this movie.
Ah, I just can't tell you how much I enjoy this movie!

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Big Naruto Energy (which I’m only saying because I have limited experience with martial arts stories, but): Son of a hidden ninja village leader gets friends, develops his powers, must protect another hidden ninja village, and saves the world from a great evil (probably not for the last time).
A nice fantasy romp, which uses a bit more wide lenses than your average Marvel movie, I think? Displays its choreography well – but gets a bit clogged up in its final set piece. The bus fight was a highlight in its simplicity.
