Hollywood Shuffle 1987
Scary Movie but it's not scary at all. It's a striking social critique on racism, stereotypes, and the overall portrayal of black people in cinema (or whatever aspect of society tbh), and maybe that is the scary side after all. I didn't know what to expect going into this, and I have to say: what a joy to watch. Yes it is fragmented but it never loses sight of the message it wants to convey, and it is never not funny.

Foxes 1980
From the guy who gave us Michael Douglas shagging Glenn Close in the kitchen we get... Jodie Foster, coming of age.
And she is amazing. Foster has such big dick energy. Keeping her group of friends together, looking out for everyone, not taking shit from anyone, riding her big truck. Such a natural and convincing performance at only 16 years old. Unbelievable.
This soundtrack. I loved it. Every single song. I need this in my life when I hang with…
