  Gotta take a few hours to make sure it’s clean. Seems clean though. Bowie song in the credits. Just watched a movie with a Bowie song in the credits. But it was a cover, and it sucked.   IDK man. I liked the creatures, obviously great performances by Pattinson and Collette and Ruffalo, who are veritable all-stars of whom nothing less would ever be expected. Everything else? Kinda silly. I don’t have much to say. Maybe I’d have liked it more if I saw Mickey 1. 

  I’m not prepared to say this has a Don’t Look Up problem but it’s getting close. In a sense it’s worse. I don’t think Snowpiercer or Parasite were particularly sharp as political commentary…

  Don’t get the hate. I don’t think it was a masterpiece or anything but I’m a high concept horror hater and I tended to be impressed by this. The music is really good. The leads both kill. 

  The concept was pretty solid and at least reasonably consistent. I mean. You gotta think about the state of the genre. People are comparing this to The Menu, to Midsommar. You think this is confused? Like c’mon. Good hook, rewards thought.
