  Beautifully shot. Beautifully lit. Beautifully scored. Gotham is dark, gritty and grimy. The inspiration taken from Fincher’s films makes this feel like some of the darker Batman comics in a way that hasn’t been touched yet on the big screen. Paul Dano is stellar. And oh my god Zoe Kravitz…the Selina Kyle we deserve. 

  There are definitely shots that are overlong. Like do we really need to be sitting on the Batmobile for that amount of time? But hey, it’s art…
