This movie wasn’t necessarily bad, but it wasn’t anything special, especially with the expectations I had going in. Pattinson puts on a stellar bi polar performance that really is the only highlight of this watch. The humor was relatively bland and the plot felt as if it had way too many storylines going on at the same point. A short yet very enjoyable watch. The movie starts off confusing and gives you nothing to go off of. But once it gets going, it never stops. Non stop tension and suspense layer on top of each other to create unpredictable sequences. It’s very interesting seeing all the pieces come together which led to me thinking about this film even days after watching it. It does a great job at doing exactly what it is, a fresh spin on a spy movie. No need for non stop fight scenes or cliche one liners, but instead, a spy movie with an actual new plot.

Interstellar, you are a true work of art.

From start to finish, this film captivated me and showed me feelings I rarely ever feel. I once again blown away on how Nolan can create such an advance concept of a film and add scenes that make you feel like you’re the characters going through the events like they’re real life. Matthew McConaughey puts on a breathtaking performance and takes you on a journey of emotion. I’m so happy I saw this in imax, for it is the only way to experience the cinematography and score that tie this elite plot together.

While this movie certainly isn’t anything to write home about, I enjoyed it for what it is. A solid flick with an interesting plot line that did a good job at what it was trying to achieve. Understandably, this movie should take a lot of heat for spoiling the dramatic reveal with its marketing campaign, but even knowing that, I still enjoyed the suspense and tension build up. This didn’t feel like a Marvel movie, which doesn’t discredit it, as…
