  Thoroughly enjoyed Triangle of Sadness! A satirical black comedy that goes full throttle in depicting the absurdities of the rich & affluent & builds a biting commentary on class inequality and distribution of wealth & power. Imagine White Lotus but on a yacht & full of scatological humour.

  Ngl. This was one of my most anticipated films of the year and one hour in I was so fucking bored and confused. Even dozed off once. But there was something so hypnotic about every frame and Cate's monster performance that I stuck through till the end, and HOLY SHIT I'm so glad I did! There's so much to process and I'm still not sure if this deserves "MOVIE OF THE YEAR" status but it is an absolute masterclass in cinematography and acting. If you respect a film that makes you put in the work as you watch it, this movie is an incredibly rewarding experience.
