Once Upon a Superhero 2018
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
In 2015, Sean Baker dropped Tangerine on us. A supposedly “humanist” approach to the unseen world of Hollywood, and the unfortunate, overlooked and marginalized people who roam it. It speaks volumes to me that 10 years later, most people who remember the movie only seem to remember or care about the fact that it was shot entirely on an iPhone.
