This felt so unoriginal and lifeless, overlong too. I can't believe this is getting so much praise. Have we forgotten what good movies are? I'm honestly blown away by how not blown away I was by this movie. The whole Uncut Gems thing, everyone talking at the same time in every interminable scene, needs to die right away. Horrible.

Look, I think this is a really nice story and I love it - on paper. I love what it's about and the characters' relationships to each other. I also love parts of the film visually... the circus is cool, and Danny Elfman's score has some nice moments. With that said, why oh why do we have to listen to that godawful Ewan McGregor southern TWANG the entire movie? Legit ruins the whole thing. He's bad in it too. Albert…

This animated Tintin feature is a charming new story not found in any of Hergé's classic books that perfectly captures the characters and spirit of the comics. The slapstick is funny, the animation is creative, the plot is fun, the villain is a classic Tintin foe, there's a delightful song number, a good mood overall and it's still the best Tintin film adaptation to date.

An all star cast leads this Tim Burton sci-fi romp about a full scale Martian invasion taking the US government completely by surprise. The dark comedy is funny and delightfully mean-spirited, with Burton having a good time spoofing Hollywood disaster movies, juggling this impressive group of actors, disposing of big names without mercy. Weird and wild, this is just a good time and one of the director's funniest films.
