Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
Everything, Everywhere, All at Once was cringe as hell and the definitive movie of the moment. Every reason I rolled my eyes reinforced that it was as close as anything I can think of as nailing how overwhelming life is in the Information Age and the ease in which one can retreat into nihilism. Watching this film was a circle of seeing what the film is doing in its self awareness, the movie knowing that you know that, and it fitting right into what the movie is depicting about the modern day. It was Reddit, Facebook comments, and scrolling Twitter.
