Breaking the Waves 1996
So much to love here although long and weird in parts but first 5 of the clave. My favorite is the scene change chapter title things with the art and music. I love Bess talking to God then being God. My intro to dogme 95. I could say more and maybe will later but just wanted to get this up now. G man knows what’s up

The Sweet Hereafter 1997
Curious how the book version is curious about NY. Liked the pied piper connection. Didn’t like some of the story telling. Liked the aerial shots. Big fan of the A frame & the Otto’s in general. Judges love an adopted Indian kid. I love how community based this is but sometimes not believable. Overall really solid
