    Half of this is people talking about what happened in the last movie, the other half is a collection of awkwardly placed and boringly shot musical segments.

    It’s a shame, because the main concept of pulling apart the persona of the Joker is great. It’s a middle finger to those who related a little too much to the character, and much of the movie being a trial should have been the perfect way to do this. But it all falls flat

    This hits hard because it treats alcohol realistically.

    There’s no shakey cams to imitate drunkness, or depressing music to tell the audience what to feel. Most of this movie is fun, there is no slow decline into the troubles and challenges. Everything is fine until it suddenly isn’t, confidence turns to embarrassment
