while watching i couldn’t stop thinking about Get Out and i don’t know why - like it’s the same genre and all but i was just noticing many references to Jordan Peele’s movie, maybe it’s just me. besides that i love the acting; channing tatum in the last scenes - incredible (him and his vape is what i really need right now), but naomi ackie’s performance is something different, she was spectacular, the confidence that u sense when she is looking into camera with rare, almost terrifying tension and most importantly the magnificent facial expressions.

the things i would do to go to a party with Ani….. but anyway, i love when films leave me with some kind of nagging feeling, in this case i think we’re talking about frustration - i can’t express how bad i wanna do something to ivan, he is a perfect example why u shouldn’t trust a man with rich mommy issues. i also enjoyed the concept of mixing genres - very good romantic introduction walks smoothly into comedy( sometimes even too excessive) and then the tragic ending.
