Helter Skelter 2012
visually luxurious, devoted to aesthetic and girl magazine culture, layered over (what feels to me like) a rotten core. i found it v triggering but maybe that makes it good...? bc it captures my own agonised self-image, my own desires; and it punishes me for not being driven enough to get there.
(actually i realise i cannot watch this kind of movie with men because i don't trust them to get it)
