  didn't get it. i almost enjoy looking back on the movie and its events more in retrospect than i enjoyed watching the movie in the moment. i found myself quite bored save for the first fourty minutes and the final twenty. maybe a rewatch would help, but im not sure how soon i'll be revisiting it.

  the film did look gorgeous though, and had a great sense of atmosphere. and the characters, tangled in the consequences of their actions like…
