  Snow White isn't naive and pure, she's just pretty stupid. A MAGIC WISHING APPLE??? ARE YOU KIDDING???

  Still an incredible feat of animation, the hand drawn animation really makes this film truly timeless.

  It's no 2001 and it's not trying to be. Very weird inversion from the original film that I don't hate, but I definitely have with this. Space scenes look REALLY bad, some weird politics between Russia and the US (I guess this was made in the middle of the Cold War but still), and answers some questions from the first movie that are better left unanswered. This was made before the big sequel boom, so any fan service that we would have in modern sequels wasn't there, and any references to the first movie are completely necessary to telling the story.
