A movie where perspective is dressed up as empowerment. Classic change your thinking, not your world bs that allows a boring director to think his exhibitionist schlock is shocking and profound. Thankfully, Poor Things also seems destined to be one of those movies that will get a bunch of awards only to be forgotten by year’s end.
