  I'm shattered.

  Cancer runs deep in my family. I've seen the destruction it leaves more times than seems fair. All I know is that you need somebody beside you. I see this and I see my dad. From his sister, to his mother-in-law, to his own mother, he was there.

  I want to be like my dad. I want to have someone like my dad at my side. What a privilege that will be.
