The House That Jack Built 2018

I feel like a worse person having seen this. The hunting scene actually made me sick. I think this movie is very good but 3.5 stars is the best I can do because of the content of the movie. The Dante’s inferno aspect added a touch that lets me know the filmmakers aren’t horrible people but wanted to tell a story but damn if this isn't depressing.

I was thoroughly impressed with the complexity and conciseness of this film. Regarding displaying realism in the film, I thought the director did an impeccable job creating relatable characters who make rational decisions. The most important theme throughout the film was love followed by realism and cinema. The love that Toto had for cinema was evident in the movie's title in that it acted as a paradise/escape from reality for many of the characters in the film. I think that…
