This was definitely funny at certain parts. But the pacing and CGI, in some cases, were……weird. Plus, outside of relatively gross unicorns, it felt like we had seen this movie before.

Based on some decent reviews, I thought maybe I missed the point. But, how could one miss the point when it is served up so easily and beautifully at every turn? Please, let the audience do some work ourselves. Alicia Vikander saves this rating; in fact, she mostly saves it in the closing minutes.

This movie did several things (every single thing?) wrong. First, it clinically underused Juliette Lewis. Then, it way overused drone footage. Like when a little sibling gets a drone for Christmas and wants to show it off….
And, for the first time, my movie was interrupted by snoring behind me. And I wasn’t angry; I felt vindicated.
Total snooze fest, and then a bunch of random deaths with no sense of pattern. Which would be okay if this was a slasher film that didn’t try to be deep and meaningful. And to be honest…the acting generally here was not good either.Translated from by
