  pushing all the fanfiction stuff aside, the two main leads had no chemistry whatsoever, there was no decent built up towards their relationship and everything felt very forced. during certain scenes i cringed so hard i actually got leg cramps. still could have been way worse i guess hence 1.5* rating??
