  I absolutely love 80's horror, so this was right up my alley. The practical effects were fantastic; some of the best I've seen from 80's horror. That car scene... perfection. lol

  It was great to see Keaton, O'Hara, and Ryder reprise their roles in this. But there was just too much going on that didn't really need to happen. And the score is not as good; some of the music felt too modern for my liking. Very pop. It's not all a mess; there's some fun to be had. Especially when we are in The Netherworld. However, there's just too many plot points that don't feel satisfying in the end.

  Sucks to rate it this low because there are so many great new cast members involved in this sequel.

  It's silly, over-the-top, and has some pretty great practical effects. The comedy bits hit pretty well, and this get's way more gruesome than I was expecting. Some wild stuff happens during the final act. There are some moments early on where things feel a bit drawn out, but when this film gets moving it really goes for it.

  Stunning cinematography, awesome set pieces, and a fantastic soundtrack. Chris Hemsworth did great as Dementus. I would love to see him in more villainous roles. I loved the vehicles in this one, as I thought they were more creative and fun than Fury Road.

  Seeing this in the theater was a fun experience that left me pumped and wanting more.
