This was fine. Glad it wasn't too ling but it still didn't have enough story to actually fill the 90 minute runtime. They didn't really do anything with the main character emotionally and the dialogue was hit or miss. They did build some good tension while not making it horror (poorly advertised by the way, the trailer definitely felt like horror). Felt like this would have been better either as a documentary or as a tv episode, but overall not a bad way to spend 90 minutes.

This movie felt like someone explained what a musical is to someone who had never seen one, then that person had a fever dream and turned that fever dream into a movie. I don't understand how they conned the academy into a best picture nomination?? The story was giving nothing, the songs were so poorly written and uninteresting, and the script was pretty atrocious. There were moments that could have been redeeming with some interesting shots and maybe choreography? But they didn't pull together into anything worth watching.
