YESSSSS YESSSSS YESSSSSSSSSSSS. Loved the minimalist take on things loved the emphasis on children, loved the way that they didn’t cast the witches but instead had every character haunting Macbeth. I loved how every actor did their part also the fact that Malcolm was trans in this makes me want to keep trying to get into theatre. SO good.

Performance wise this was carried by Isabelle adjani and klaus kinski. I also thought how they showed the town being consumed by plague and madness was great, arguably better than the 2024 Nosferatu. I also liked that lucy was more isolated with Van Helsing initially disbelieving her and Jonathan becoming a vampire though I do think ending the movie with that lessened her sacrifice a bit
