New Vewn and new ENA, we are in a golden age of internet animation. Their style has literally only gotten better and has resisted stagnation I think it would otherwise have. To death with 'webcore' and 'weirdcore', this is pure information age gold.

Moral of The Movie: You need 8 hours of sleep to have a productive day.

Gibson is New Wave Sci-Fi incarnate. He has dedicated a great deal of his career to dismantling tropes and grounding his fiction in a paradoxical fact. It's like reverse gonzo. Tomorrow Calling, or the og short story The Gernsback Continuum is about exorcising the ghosts of post-war optimism and replacing them with the harsh realities ushered in by the crises of the 70s and 80s. This is a direct, sweet little adaptation that slightly changes the meaning with a British context vs the original American one. It still works.

Moral of The Movie: Exorcise your semiotic ghosts.

Moral of The Movie: - Do you have anything you want to say to women?
    - I’m sorry, women.

It is all profoundly and crushingly bleak in that beautiful Russian tradition. The fall of the USSR plunges all of Russia and it's satellites into…
