  drake put this on because he thought I would like it (as if I hadn’t read and seen every rendition multiple times) which was really sweet.

  The acting in this was simply incredible. R Pat, Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun. Seriously, wow. However, I didn’t enjoy the Trump impersonation. It was so obvious it was dull and landed flat. But I can acknowledge how this mockery of him being showcased and preserved in perpetuity is important. And no one ever lauded bong joon ho for being subtle.

  I didn’t expect this movie to be so heart-wrenching, but man, it’s hard to watch someone suffer over and over again. But extraordinarily fulfilling to see them loved through it over and over again.

  You could freeze every frame and it would be art. I loved watching a movie that was dark and still being able to SEE details. helped that it was on IMAX which I HIGHLY recommend. one scene made me want a quality umbrella. and there were a lot of cats, which really added to the experience. a much needed lightness. Lily was robbed in award season.
