What an odd film.
(Some very funny lines, though).
Every time I watch it this movie gets more fun. it’s funny, a bit silly, and - as the movie jokes - the third act is a little clunky, but god damn these stunts are awesome to watch.
A mostly fun movie I was attracted to by it’s premise - which it unfortunately leaves vastly underexplored, in terms of both the ramifications of the situation (the plot point becomes almost around the half way mark) and in terms of the “how it works” scifi, which would’ve been just as interesting.
Very bold of a movie in 2025 to have so blatantly poorly and under written female characters.
An incredibly unsubtle political allegory for a film that seemingly doesn’t…
