Borderline 2025
Demented. Just demented. We need more Samara Weaving in our lives. In the pink shorts she wore most of this movie, too. Her singing “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” was magic. But this is the Ray Nicholson Show. He’s having a hell of a year. This is the most he’s been like his dad yet - probably cuz he’s a sociopath - and it’s a sight to behold. Love the version of Madonna’s “Borderline” used in here too. Bloody, funny, and twisted.

Snow White 2025
There was a good new song in the beginning. That’s one nice thing I can say. It reminded me that “Snow White & The Huntsman” was awesome and I should watch it again. So there’s that too. That was a wayyyyy better movie. I mean, “Snow White & The Three Stooges” was a better movie and Curly isn’t even in it. This movie is downright horrible. During quiet parts if you listen hard enough you can hear Walt Disney spinning in his grave.

Style is Soderbergh’s middle name. Deft might as well be a nickname. Koepp’s script is taut (that could be HIS nickname). Blanchett may get the best line in the movie, but Abela steals the whole darn thing.
