  An enjoyable slasher flick, nothing special, a few good kills but wasn't super gory. I enjoyed the story between the two main characters. I don't think there could be a more middle of the road horror movie and the ending was kind of a bummer. No spoilers but it completely ripped off a classic

  I enjoyed this for what it was. It's not the original 1941 film and it knows it. The suspense was really good and the acting was decent. I was expecting more as I am a fan of the Universal Monster movies and really liked Leigh Whannel's take on The Invisible Man.   A great remake. Lily Rose Depp was great, as were the other two leads. It was a little slow at points in the first third. It wasn't a silent film, but there were a lot of points where the dialogue was limited and the acting and score told the story, but then Orlock would show up and kicked off some action
