  I don't think I've seen this movie since the extended edition DVD was released in 2002. I fell asleep when watching it so I've afraid to tackle the series again. I've been sick all weekend so I decided to crack open the extended Blu Ray set I got for christmas start with the first one. The Fellowship of the ring was my favorite book and I'm about to find out if it applies to the movies also.

  Holy crap. I kept reading comments about how good this movie is. To tell you the truth, first time I heard about this movie was when looked up new releases for that weekend. I have not had this much fun at the movies since GotG. Since these movies don't really need a plot the whole movie depends on characters and performances and ill have to say this movie excels at both fronts. This role was made for Keanu and all supporting parts big and small really made the world feel real. I would watch a sequel for this.
