A Quiet Place: Day One 2024
This has some the lowest stakes I've ever seen in a movie. There were so many yell-at-the-screen moments where characters put themselves in harms way for no good reason. The performances are strong, but the lack of consistency and reasoning behind one character's actions completely took me out of it.
The monsters look good though.

Saw this movie the other night and it's one of the most creative, ingenious, slapstick, live-action, looney tunes-esque comedies you'll ever see. For best viewing, see it in a packed theater (if it's playing near you) or watch it with a group of friends when it comes to streaming. You won't be disappointed. The ending is epic!
