Death Race 2000 1975
"Yes, murder was invented before man even began to speak!"
All of Paul Bartels films I've watched (so far) have had such a unique and grimy feel to them, and Death Race 2000 is no exception.
This movie did an excellent job at making me feel immersed in the dirty & almost looneytoons-ish setting it had created, and I found myself genuinely interested in the rules of the race (expecually how the scoring worked lol).

This is SO MUCH FUN.
I usually don't enjoy movies heavily involving / based around the internet or social media, but this one is soo well done!
Even the more ridiculous parts don't really feel cringy, they feel very comical and it adds to the whole overall vibe to the film :)
