Worst Trump parody since the most recent one.

Seriously what’s going on here. These characters are so thin, the performances are all over the place and the promise of the concept is never delivered on.  I felt like narratively this thing never finds what it wants to be about. Snowpiercer one moment, then full Okja the next. Makes Megalopolis seem watchable in comparison.  These performances are so insincere, crude, and cringe. It’s a tonal mixed bag. I liked the dialogue but the script itself is a bit all over the place. It gets a bit too high on its message and misses the meaning in presenting the ideas. The paint scene was a nice craft decision but otherwise there are a lot of camera choices that don’t make much sense.

"Diabetes! I ought to know better than to hire anyone with a disease."

Journalism, politics, and capital punishment, all subtext for what could be a melodrama but is in fact the screwball romantic comedy spitting out at 100 words a minute. There are moments when you wonder if you are watching a film in some other language. Phone conversations have never been recorded in such glory, bringing some of the…
